This one was a challenge because there were no outside access to this second story deck. What did we do? We dismantled every single piece and carried it down two flights of stairs. And then we had to do the same thing with the new materials. We sure did get our steps in that week! 

Since the deck rotted out in just 7 years, we suggested composite "sleeper boards" and a high end Trex composite decking along with Trex Transcend railings. Now this happy customer has a lifetime deck that will never rot again.
