Raised Gardens

Simply mounding dirt or creating a bed of soil elevated above the surrounding grade constitutes a raised garden bed. The objective is to develop a growing area that is both expansive and deep to stimulate plant roots' downward and radial growth. Using raised bed gardens is one method that can be utilized to circumvent problematic native soil conditions.
